One of our goals as the resource for new play development in Washington, DC is to give our local playwrights and playmakers all the tools they need to make bold, compelling plays. So over the past three years, we've offered a variety of master classes that we thought would be helpful to you, taught by nationally recognized playmakers. For example:
- We brought in superstar dramaturg Michael Bigelow Dixon to teach you about new play dramaturgy.
- We brought in award-winning teacher and playwright Gary Garrison to teach you how to write a kick-ass ten-minute play.
- We brought in the highly lauded director/playwright team Wendy McClellan and Liz Duffy Adams to teach you about productive collaborations between directors and playwrights.
Now we want to hear from you!
- If you are a playwright or a playmaker, what else can we teach you?
- If you are a teacher, what else do playwrights and playmakers in our Nation's capital need to learn?
Please take a minute to fill out this brief survey. We'll be using the information you provide to expand our curriculum in 2011 and beyond.
